# SteadyPnL > SteadyPnL is a trading journal and risk tracker built around prop firm rules. Every session it shows each account's "max you can lose today": the smaller of the daily loss limit left and the distance to the trailing or static drawdown line. It is for traders on prop firm evaluations and funded accounts (futures, forex and CFDs). It does not give trading signals or investment advice. ## What it does - One number per account, every session: max you can lose today, recalculated after every trade logged or imported - Rules per account: daily loss limit; end-of-day trailing, intraday trailing or static drawdown; the level where trailing stops; profit target; consistency; minimum trading days; max contracts; fees - Accounts can start mid-evaluation from today's balance, highest balance and days done, so the drawdown line is right from day one - Size check: how many futures contracts fit today at your usual stop, capped at the firm's max (arithmetic, not a recommendation) - Several accounts from several prop firms in one place - Getting trades in: import a file, log trades by hand (Win/Loss and amount, about 20 seconds), or both; hand-logged trades are matched with later imports, never counted twice - Imports: Tradovate (Performance report or Orders), TopstepX and other ProjectX platforms, NinjaTrader (Trades or Executions), Rithmic R Trader Pro, MetaTrader 4/5 reports (HTML or Excel), Quantower, Sierra Chart, Excel .xlsx and any CSV with date, symbol and P&L; preview before saving; duplicates skipped; undo per import - All times in New York time (ET); futures trading days reset at 18:00 ET - Daily habit: check-in before the session, close the day after it, journaling streak (one missed day a week forgiven) - Stats: net P&L after fees, win rate, average R, profit factor, max drawdown; calendar; tags for setups, mistakes and moods - Weekly AI review of the trader's own habits; phone and desktop, synced; installable web app - First-time setup takes about three minutes: account, firm rules, where the account stands, how you trade, first trade ## How it differs - Firm and platform dashboards are the official record for one account; SteadyPnL works across firms and shows the number before you trade - General trading journals focus on trade analysis and charting; SteadyPnL focuses on staying inside prop firm rules plus a short daily routine - Not for: trading signals, trade copying, automated trading or live broker connections (trades come in by file or by hand) - Limits: the size check is in futures contracts (forex lots planned); for intraday trailing drawdown it counts closed trades, while firms may also count open profit ## Price - One plan, everything included: USD 12.99 per month, or USD 8.99 per month billed yearly (USD 107.88 a year), plus tax where it applies - Unlimited accounts and trades; 14-day free trial, no card; public launch 2 November 2026; founding members keep the launch price ## Pages - [Home](https://steadypnl.com/): overview, live demo, calculator, pricing and FAQ - [What SteadyPnL is](https://steadypnl.com/prop-firm-trading-journal): prop firm trading journal, who it is for and not for - [Trailing drawdown explained](https://steadypnl.com/trailing-drawdown): end-of-day vs intraday vs static, where the line stops, how to calculate the most you can lose today, with a calculator - [Export your trades](https://steadypnl.com/export-trades): step-by-step export from Tradovate, TopstepX, NinjaTrader, Rithmic, MetaTrader 4/5, Quantower and Sierra Chart - [Compare](https://steadypnl.com/compare): SteadyPnL vs firm dashboards vs general trading journals - [Live demo](https://steadypnl.com/app?demo=1): the app with example data, no sign-up ## Contact - Support: support@steadypnl.com - Website: https://steadypnl.com/
